Billy Blanks Jr.
Billy Blanks Jr.
Self taught and working professionally from his youth, Billy gained much exposure and experience in the world of dance and entertainment. As a young teen he choreographed school musical productions and created after school dance groups. As Billy’s notoriety grew, he earned roles as a dancer in music videos with Paula Abdul, Madonna, Crystal Method (directed by Gore Verbinski), Quincy Jones, and Babyface. His credits also include TV appearances on American Dreams with Alicia Keys, The Practice, Sister Sister, Kids Incorporated, Homeboys From Outer Space, My Cousin Skeeter, and The Tonight Show. Billy starred as Tyrone Jackson in the US and Europe touring company of the Broadway musical Fame. Billy went on to direct and choreograph the WeSparkle Take II Celebrity Concert with Tom Hanks, Jason Alexander, Brian Cranston, Joey Lawrence, Britney Spears, Michael Chiklis, Hal Sparks, the cast of Will & Grace, and more. He also choreographed the end sequence for the movie I Hope You Dance.

Since then, Billy has become the face for the new generation of fitness! He made history on the hit TV show Shark Tank after turning down a deal proposed by Mark Cuban and Daymond John when the latter shark left the tank and talked Billy into taking the deal. The result was his business Dance It Out® (DIO®) becoming the fastest growing fitness based dance program in America! Billy comes from a fitness family, his father is Tae Bo® creator Billy Blanks, and has twenty plus years in the field.

In October 2015, Billy launched the MoveTube Network where he produces and directs feel good workouts, motivational content, and other inspirational videos featuring today’s hottest dancers and celebrities.

He is the proud daddy of his son Elijah.
Tor Campbell
Tor Campbell
As Tor “eased on down the road” in a Tin Man Suit (which was tight as hell by the way) at the age of 12, he realized two things: first that the costume designer should have gotten him a bigger suit and second, he wanted to somehow find a way to ease on down that road more than just one time.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin he continued to dance throughout high school and starred in 42nd Street, a play that features tap dancing; this was ironic given he had never tapped a day in his life! Fortunately, tap came easy for Tor and he soon realized that dance was in his soul.
After high school Tor continued to pursue dancing and choreography at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City where he starred in many musicals including Dreamgirls, Tap Dance Kid and Fame. Upon graduating, Tor went on tour with The Wiz in New York City but this time he did not play the Tin Man, he starred as “The Wiz” and was directed by the acclaimed George Faison (original choreographer of The Wiz). More recently Tor returned from Macau, China where he was the lead choreographer for the Venetian Hotel.
Tor’s choreography and experience has spanned the globe, provided a wealth of exposure to different cultures, technique and dance movement. As a result, he is a versatile instructor who has created his own unique style combining many genres of dance including funk, hip-hop, african and jazz. Tor is known for his creative, innovative, trend-setting dance classes and fluid music mixes. It is his masterful combination of music and easy to follow dance instruction that make him the number one dance instructor at Your Neighborhood Studio in Culver City.
Tor now resides in LA where he works full-time as a choreographer and dance instructor.
