Acoustic Rock Monster consists of a one man band and an amazing singer. The one man band is me playing guitar, bass, and drums at the same time. Difficult no.

Impossible YES.

Out of thousands of shows, I’ve never seen anyone crazy enough to attempt it but the tracks you’re hearing are performed this way with no overdubs except for one vocal layered along side of the original lead vocal in Can’t Find My Way Home.

I play an acoustic guitar with two outs. One goes directly to the console and the other goes to an octave pedal for the bass and a couple of different Distortion pedals. My feet are kicking a djembe and a snare. Beater bounce takes care of the counter rhythm. Ace of Spades is an electric guitar plugged into the same setup. I don’t do this live, but I tossed it onto the audio page because I like the drumming on the track.

The songs are tailored to fit this format and we can do hours of material. The bands we’ve played in the past and currently do many of these songs. There are lots that only we do because they’re too Different.

Come see Acoustic Rock Monster and attempt to learn the secrets that allow Mary and I to perform in a truly unique style that is self taught and one of a kind,

Thanks, Brooks
