Liza Salta - Creative, Executive Producer
Liza Rivera Salta was born and raised in New York and lives in Norwalk, CT with her husband and two sons. She holds an M.B.A. in International Business, a B.S in Finance and a minor in the Arts. As a creative, Liza uses her background and experience in various artistic areas such as music, entertainment and art. She is currently the CFO for her husband’s music company and Treasurer for the Game Audio Network Guild. Liza has also worked on creating TV program projects. She credits her love of music and dance to her parents whom always made it a part of their lives. Family is her core passion as well as using her time and talents to give back. “I am honored to be part of DWTS and so excited to help support the Broadway Teens of Connecticut. This program provides immeasurable value to our teens and our community.”
Linda Tuccio-Koonz - Features Writer, Hearst Media
Linda Tuccio-Koonz - Features Writer, Hearst Media
Linda followed her father into journalism, has worked in newspapers for three decades, and currently writes music and entertainment features for Hearst Connecticut. An avid believer in the power of the arts to change lives, she’s excited to be part of Dancing With The Stars Connecticut to benefit Broadway Teens of Connecticut.

Although Linda took a few dance lessons as a kid, unfortunately she did not stick with it. However, she has interviewed several artists from television’s “Dancing With The Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance,” so maybe that will help.

A native of Long Island, she earned her B.S. in journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Her first daily newspaper job was in Augusta, Maine, where she helped the FBI solve a coed’s murder. In 2013, she was part of the writing team that captured a national award for a narrative on the day of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

Much of her career was at The News-Times in Danbury, where she served as features editor (and where she met her husband, Brian Koonz). Her writing has also appeared in The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Newsday, as well as “Chicken Soup for the Working Woman’s Soul.”

Most recently, her work was included in a new book called “Opinionated Women in the Land of Steady Habits,” by James Smith. It features columns by female journalists in Connecticut, addressing subjects from art to politics. Linda’s pieces reflect on motherhood, her own mother, and raising two boys, Michael and Taylor (and their early shenanigans), with her husband in Newtown.

Lorin Richardson- Verizon FiOS1 News Traffic and Fitness Friday Reporter
I am a Morning Traffic Anchor at FiOS1 News for Lower Hudson Valley viewers. I also report, edit and produce for my Fitness Friday segments every week--

Before that I was at News 12 Connecticut for two years.

And even before that-- I was based out of Beckley, WV as a TV Reporter/ Fill-In Anchor.

I came from Greenville, NC where I was a One Man Band Reporter and Associate Producer at WITN. I covered a wide range of stories from towns covered in floods, fires that have destroyed homes, fatal car accidents, and startling statistics.. at the same time I have worked on pieces along the Crystal Coast, college football tailgating, massive food giveaways and trying to break world records..

I am originally from Connecticut and went to school for broadcasting at Roger Williams in Rhode Island... I was the online reporter and one of the creators of RWU's online news program.. "The Feed" for two years. I interned at several stations and had videos nationally published on PBS for the show "Planet Forward."

After college I became a reporter for MyDictionary.com and LocalOnlineNews.tv before moving out here. I love meeting new people and working on all different types of projects! If you ever have a story idea feel free to email me/ contact me etc.

On a closing note.. I believe that with dreams, anything is possible. I am going to keep following my passion in life and I hope you will too-

Andrew Pearce - Commander in Chief at Columbus Magnet School for Young Astronauts
Personal Data:

Father of Zach (28) and Ethan (25) – again, you figure out the math.

University of Bridgeport, M.A. Education

Professional Life
Prior to his current position as Norwalk School District teacher, Andy was the senior technical writer at Affiliated Computer Services, which is now a division of Xerox.
Andy’s professional life really began when he decided to commit himself to the children of our country. That’s when he made the decision to devote all of his efforts into guiding, influencing and, hopefully, teaching elementary school students. He started at Columbus Magnet School as a second grade teacher in 2005 and moved to fourth grade in 2012.
Along with his fourth grade class, Andy runs the fifth grade Columbus Young Astronaut program, where he is known as C in C (commander-in-chief). He feels blessed to have taken over the annual simulated mission from former Columbus principal and founder of the CMS Young Astronauts, Arthur J. Perschino. In keeping with the STEM spirit of Mr. P, who passed away last year, this year’s astronaut mission, In Vestigiis Apollo, is dedicated to this great educator.
Andy considers himself very fortunate to have been associated with the extraordinary staff at Columbus Magnet School all these years – their excellence and professionalism are a constant source of inspiration and motivation.
Interests
Beside his love of space exploration, Andy is a devoted fan of Union College hockey. Having played hockey on a very low level for many years, he now channels that enthusiasm to cheering for the Dutchmen.
An avid movie enthusiast, Andy has a soft spot in his heart for Hollywood musicals and has often pinned to be able to do the kind of dancing seen in classics such as Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, but wouldn’t turn down a role in West Side Story either. He’s keeping his fingers and toes crossed that he doesn’t make his dance partner look too foolish.
